An Update from National Photography

As a company and a global community, we are starting to see the long reaching effects of Covid-19.

As the situation continues to develop our highest priorities are ensure the health and well being of our staff and our clients; educators, students and families.

We have been overwhelmed with the support and understanding of our Schools, Dance Schools, Preschool and Event Clients through this difficult time and are working with them to reschedule bookings, supply alternative services and support them to ensure they can survive the weeks and months ahead.

We are fortunate to still be able to remain open and operating as normal in what is the busiest time of year for our business. We are continuing to process jobs that have already been photographed and are still printing and dispatching orders; we will continue to do so until a mandatory shut down is implemented.

Now more than ever, it is important to have those captured moments and memories to look back on. Orders can still be placed online as normal.

For our School Photography customers your orders will be held until your school is photographed or if you have already had your photos taken, until School reopens and they can be delivered. For all of our other customers, your orders will be dispatched using our regular delivery channels.

 

What we’re doing to protect our staff and your community

Appropriate cleaning, hygiene and risk reduction procedures are a priority for everyone in our office as well as when we are working offsite:

  • Any staff that report feeling unwell are taking the necessary steps to self-isolate to protect the rest of us
  • Those staff that are able to, and would like to, have been given the option to work remotely
  • Our office areas such as phones, countertops, etc. are being cleaned routinely
  • All staff are washing their hands regularly (both on and off site)
  • Hand sanitiser has been made readily available and is being used by all staff (both on and off site)
  • On photography days we’ll be restricting contact and where reasonable creating space between staff and students, for everyone’s benefit
  • Implementing Social Distancing to ensure a safe personal space for staff still working on site as well as when working off site

 

Department of Health Guidelines

National Photography are working with our team and clients to adhere strictly to appropriate Department of Health and Department of Education and Training recommendations regarding illness, isolation and potential testing of anyone displaying symptoms of COVID-19.

This means:

  • Should any staff member be confirmed as having COVID-19, they will be quarantined for 14 days. All staff who have had close contact in the 24 hours prior will be expected to self-isolated for 14 days, monitor for symptoms and seek medical advice as necessary
  • As an extra measure of health and safety, we are directing all staff that if they develop a common symptom of COVID-19, regardless of exposure, to stay home and seek medical advice.

To date, we have had zero staff displaying symptoms of or requiring testing for COVID-19.

By working together as a community, we can get through these challenging times. By being supportive of each other we can get through this.
